FAQ´s
Q: What is Chorizo Racing?
A: Chorizo Racing is a well-seasoned team of friends and family bringing extra spice to what used to be family camping trips now evolved to us competing in the 24 Hours of Lemons. We’re not here for podiums—we’re here to grill it up on the track and have some laughs along the way. Our car may be held together with duct tape and dreams, but you better believe it’s packing some heat.
Q: Why “Chorizo” Racing?
A: Because Laura, Vanessa, and both Gabys said so. We wanted a name that captures our flavorful approach to racing. Just like chorizo, we’re bold, a little spicy, and maybe a bit greasy—but that’s how it be.
Q: What kind of car do you race?
A: Think of it as a chorizo on wheels. It’s low-budget, Infinity G35, well-cooked, and probably a little smoky with a big chorizo on the roof. Our ride may not look like much, but with some extra seasoning, it’s got enough kick to hold its own out there (we hope!).
Q: Are you guys serious about racing?
A: Absolutely…serious about having a good time! We’re all about sharing trail braking videos with each other and stuffing as much fun and food as we can into every race meeting. If we happen to survive until the end, that’s just the cherry on top—or in our case, the jalapeño.
Q: What’s the “People’s Curse” we hear about in Lemons?
A: Let’s just say it’s the ultimate grilling. The “People’s Curse” can be dished out to the team that’s causing the most trouble, and it often involves some…creative car-smashing. But hey, if we’re gonna get roasted, at least we’ll go down spicy!
Q: Can we join Chorizo Racing?
A: If you’ve got a taste for adventure, a love for low-budget cars, and don’t mind the occasional hot mess, then you’re already one of us! Follow along on our website to see when we're looking for new crew—or just come by the pits as a spectator to say hi!
